Our Story

Inspired by the sanctuaries of the Pacific

White Beach was started by Michael Gooding and Shirley Puth, inspired by the islands, beaches and sailing communities they have spent years visiting across the Pacific.

Those places share something simple: slow mornings, salt-water swims, long afternoons by the water, and clothing that feels as easy as the setting. We wanted to make that, here in Australia.

Natural fibres, made to last

Our long-length tees are cut from heavyweight 200 gsm cotton, substantial enough to hold their shape and breathable enough for the hottest days. Our sarong is a fine ramie blend with a natural, silk-like drape, and our tote is a durable hemp and cotton canvas made to replace single-use bags.

We keep our range small on purpose: a few well-made pieces that work together, rather than a lot of things you’ll only wear once.

White Beach is a state of mind. We hope our pieces bring a little of it to wherever you are.
